Real alabaster stone — hand-cut from Aragón, Spain. Many fixtures sold as "alabaster" in the US are actually frosted or molded glass. Real stone has the warm milky depth, cloud veining, and luminous glow only natural alabaster produces.
Will it work on my 8-foot ceiling? +
Yes — at 6.3" (round) or 7.3" (linear) total height, this is one of the lowest-profile real alabaster fixtures available. It is designed specifically for 8 ft+ ceilings where a hanging chandelier would feel oppressive.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
