The Sacura was conceived in reference to the Japanese cherry tree in flower: the brass stems as bare wood, the white cotton shades as the petals that cluster at branch ends in spring.

Ensure your junction box and ceiling support are rated for at least 10 kg (a safety margin above the fixture weight). Bulbs are not included. Each of the six arms uses one E26 (US) or E27 (international) socket. We recommend 4–8W LED globe or candle bulbs at 2700K warm white — the warm tone suits both the brass stems and the white cotton shades. A frosted or opal glass bulb diffuses the output softly through the shade; a clear filament bulb adds visible glow for a more botanical, candlelit character.

What room size suits the Sacura? +
At 125 × 100 cm in footprint and 110 cm in body height, the Sacura is a large-scale chandelier — it requires a room and table large enough to give the branching silhouette visual breathing room. For a dining room, a table of at least 180 cm and a room of at least 4 × 4 m is recommended. For a living room, the fixture works best when not competing with low furniture directly beneath — center it in open floor space. Double-height foyers and stairwells allow the full vertical mass of the branching structure to be seen from multiple levels.
Why does it have an asymmetric shape? +
The irregular branching of the arms is a deliberate design choice referencing the way a cherry tree grows — no two branches at the same height, angle, or length. A symmetrical candelabra arm layout would produce a manufactured regularity inconsistent with the botanical reference. The asymmetry means the fixture looks different from every angle and position in the room, and the shadow patterns it casts on the ceiling change with the viewing direction.
What bulb gives the best result? +
Two good options. A frosted LED globe or candle bulb (E26/E27, 4–8W, 2700K warm white) gives the cleanest, most even output through the white cotton shades — the shade reads as softly luminous rather than showing a visible bulb silhouette. Alternatively, a clear glass filament LED (visible spiral filament, 2200–2400K amber warm) adds a botanical, candlelit quality — the filament is visible through the shade and the amber glass enhances the warm brass tone of the arms. Bulbs not included.
Is it dimmable? +
Yes, when fitted with dimmable E26/E27 LED bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer switch (both sold separately). Specify “dimmable” when purchasing LED bulbs and confirm your dimmer is rated for LED loads. Dimming the Sacura to 30–50% creates a soft, intimate atmosphere well suited to the botanical aesthetic of the fixture — at lower brightness, the white fabric shades appear as warm, glowing clusters rather than bright points of light.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
