Alabaster is one of the few materials that lights up from within. Hold a bulb behind a slab of it and the stone glows with the warm cloud-veined translucency that no acrylic or resin imitator can match. Each piece in this series is unique: the veining patterns, color depth, and translucency vary block to block, and that variation is the point.

Hand-cut natural stone. Each alabaster piece in this series is cut from a single block of Aragón stone — natural cloud veining, color depth, and translucency vary piece to piece. The stone in your finished sconce will not look identical to the photographs, and that's part of what makes alabaster the material it is. Photographs show representative character.

How does the customization process work? +
Tell us the silhouette family you like, your space dimensions, your preferred finish, and your light source preference. We come back with sizing options that work for your wall, lead time, and a quote. Most customizations don't add significantly to the lead time — but extreme size changes or unusual configurations may extend production.
Why does the alabaster look slightly different on every piece? +
The alabaster is quarried in Aragón, Spain and hand-cut from natural blocks. The cloud-like veining, color depth, and translucency are properties of the natural stone — no two pieces are identical, even within the same configuration. We can match tone within a single project (e.g. a hotel order of 30 sconces) but exact veining-pattern matching is not possible with natural stone.
Are these pieces dimmable? +
Yes. The G9 socket versions dim with a dimmable G9 LED on a TRIAC wall dimmer. The integrated LED versions ship 3000K warm white by default, and we can build them as TRIAC-dimmable on request — please specify when ordering.
Can I order in hospitality / project quantities? +
Yes — we work with hotels, restaurants, and design firms on project orders. Project pricing, consistent matching across multiple units, and dedicated project lead times are available. Contact us with your spec, quantity, and timeline for a project quote.
Can I install these in a bathroom? +
Most pieces in this series suit powder rooms and bath vanities away from direct shower spray. Avoid installations directly above a shower or tub where steam and water make sustained contact — natural alabaster is porous and can absorb moisture over time. For wet-zone installations, please contact us about sealed or specially-prepared variants.
What's the lead time? +
Standard configurations from this series typically follow our normal made-to-order timeline. Custom sizes, special finishes, or hospitality quantities may extend production. We'll confirm specific lead time when we send your project quote.

Natural Variance Is Not a Defect
Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
