Múltiplos cachos de hastes de latão ramificam-se para fora e para cima a partir do cubo central — cada cacho um grupo separado de braços que se diverge dos seus vizinhos, a silhueta geral referenciando a geometria solta e radiante de uma planta de endro em flor. Na ponta de cada haste, um abajur de cerâmica branca moldado à mão repousa de topo aberto, dirigindo a fonte E12 tanto para baixo através do corpo de cerâmica como para cima através da coroa aberta. Este componente ascendente é a qualidade mais distintiva do Aldean: quando aceso, o candelabro projeta padrões de sombra ramificados no teto acima — a geometria das hastes de latão projetada como sombra, o candelabro duplicando a sua presença na divisão.
Três configurações — 9, 12 e 18 braços — dimensionam a densidade dos cachos ramificados mantendo a mesma linguagem de design. O tom quente complementa a estrutura em latão e realça o efeito de sombra no teto — a fonte de luz quente cria sombras mais definidas do que as lâmpadas branco-frio. Uma pequena lâmpada globo ou cilíndrica LED funciona bem dentro do abat-jour de cerâmica aberto.

Qual o tamanho adequado para minha sala de jantar? +
A versão de 9 braços (∅ 67 cm) é ideal para mesas de jantar até 150 cm e salas de jantar menores, onde uma luminária mais compacta se adequa melhor à escala. A versão de 12 braços (∅ 78 cm) é perfeita para mesas padrão de 4–6 lugares (150–180 cm) e é a opção mais versátil para salas abertas. A versão de 18 braços (∅ 89 cm) é para salas de jantar grandes, mesas grandes (180–210 cm) e vestíbulos onde se procura densidade visual máxima e cobertura de sombra no teto. Conforme o número de braços aumenta, a silhueta de ramificação fica mais densa e o efeito de sombra no teto é mais pronunciado.
Como funciona o efeito de sombra no teto? +
Os abat-jours de cerâmica branca têm o topo aberto assim como a base — a lâmpada E12/E14 dentro de cada abat-jour emite luz tanto para baixo (através do corpo de cerâmica como um brilho difuso) quanto para cima (diretamente pela coroa aberta). A luz ascendente atinge os ramos em latão e projeta a sua geometria de ramificação como padrões de sombra no teto acima da luminária. O efeito é mais visível em condições de luz fraca — quanto menor o nível de luz ambiente, mais definidos ficam os padrões de sombra. As lâmpadas branco-quente (2700K) produzem a versão mais quente e atmosférica deste efeito.
Os abat-jours de cerâmica são frágeis? +
A cerâmica cozida em forno é durável em condições normais de teto, mas pode lascar ou rachar se atingida diretamente contra uma superfície dura durante a instalação. Manuseie com cuidado ao montar — evite bater os abajures individuais contra as hastes de latão ou uns contra os outros. Uma vez instalada, os abajures ficam fixos e não sofrem manuseio diário. Por serem artesanais, pequenas diferenças de forma, textura de superfície e tonalidade entre peças individuais são normais e inerentes ao processo de modelação manual.
É regulável em intensidade? +
Sim, quando equipado com lâmpadas LED candelabro E12/E14 dimerizáveis e um comutador atenuador de parede TRIAC compatível (ambos vendidos separadamente). Especifique "dimerizável" ao comprar lâmpadas LED e confirme que o seu atenuador está classificado para cargas LED. Atenuar o Aldean para 30–50% produz tipicamente o melhor efeito de sombra no teto — a luz ambiente reduzida torna as sombras de ramo projetadas para cima mais visíveis e dramáticas contra a superfície do teto.

The bloom is glazed by brush; the branch beneath it is finished the same careful way — seventeen numbered metal finishes, from bright brass to blackened iron, so the stem matches the room the flowers will live in.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
