Floor Lamp · Indirect Lighting · Black Base · White or Wood Body · E26 / E27
Costantina is a floor lamp that works through indirect light — the beam is directed away from the eye, bouncing off walls or ceiling to fill the room with a soft, diffused glow rather than a direct cone of illumination. At 165 cm tall with a 35 cm footprint, it holds its presence in a room without demanding floor space, and the black iron base grounds the silhouette with visual weight while the upper body carries the chosen finish.
Two body finishes — White and Wood color — sit on the same matte black base, producing two distinct readings of the same form. White is clean and architectural; wood tone is warmer and more textural. The plug-in cord means no hardwiring is needed — it can be repositioned freely around any room.

FAQ
White or Wood color — which suits my room? +
White works best in rooms with a clean, neutral palette — white or light walls, concrete, grey linen, and minimal furniture. The contrast between the black base and white body reads as deliberate and architectural. Wood color brings warmth — the oak tone bridges the black base into something less stark and pairs naturally with natural materials: rattan, linen, light wood floors, and terracotta accents. It also sits well in Japandi and Scandi interiors where matte black and warm wood are a standard pairing.
What is indirect lighting and why does it matter? +
Indirect lighting directs the light source away from the eye — typically upward toward the ceiling or sideward toward a wall — so the room is illuminated by reflected light rather than the bulb itself. The result is softer, more diffused ambient light with significantly less glare than a downward direct fixture. Indirect floor lamps are particularly effective in living rooms and bedrooms where overhead lighting can feel harsh — they create a layered, relaxed atmosphere.
Does it need to be hardwired? +
No — Costantina is a plug-in lamp with a 150 cm (59″) cord. It plugs directly into a standard wall outlet with no electrical installation required. This makes it suitable for rental apartments, rooms without ceiling junction boxes, and any space where you want flexible lamp positioning. The cord is 150 cm long — confirm outlet placement relative to your intended lamp position before ordering.
What bulb should I use? +
A 6–10W LED at 2700–3000K warm white in an E26 (US) or E27 (international) base. For indirect lighting, choose a bulb with a frosted or opal glass diffuser rather than clear — it produces a smoother reflected glow without visible hotspots on the wall or ceiling. Avoid bulbs above 10W; indirect light is ambient by nature and higher wattage is rarely necessary. Bulbs are not included.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
