Mehrere Cluster von Messingarmgruppen verzweigen sich nach außen und oben vom zentralen Hub — jedes Cluster bildet eine eigene Armegruppe, die sich von ihren Nachbarn unterscheidet; die Gesamtsilhouette verweist auf die lockere, radiale Geometrie einer blühenden Dillpflanze. An der Spitze jeder Armgruppe sitzt ein handgeformter weißer Keramikschirm mit offener Oberseite, der die E12-Lichtquelle sowohl nach unten durch den Keramikkörper als auch nach oben durch die offene Krone lenkt. Diese Aufwärtskomponente ist das charakteristischste Merkmal des Aldean: Bei Beleuchtung wirft die Leuchte verzweigte Schattenmuster an die Decke — die Messingskelett-Geometrie wird als Schatten projiziert, die Leuchte verdoppelt so ihre Präsenz im Raum.
Drei Varianten — 9, 12 und 18 Leuchten — variieren die Dichte der verzweigten Cluster, während die gleiche Designsprache erhalten bleibt. Alle drei Varianten haben eine bei der Installation einstellbare Kette von 50 cm. Die weißen Keramikschirme und das polierte Messingskelett sind in allen Größen identisch — die Wahl ist rein eine Frage der Skalierung.

Verzweigte Cluster-Arme
Mehrere Armgruppen divergieren vom zentralen Hub — die botanische Verzweigungsgeometrie erzeugt eine Silhouette, die von jedem Blickwinkel anders wirkt.
Handgefertigte Keramikschirme
Jeder Schirm wird einzeln aus Keramik handgeformt — leichte Variationen in Form und Oberfläche zwischen den Stücken sind dem Handwerk inhärent.
Schatteneffekt an der Decke
Keramikschirme mit offener Oberseite lenken Licht nach oben — die Messingskelett-Geometrie wird als verzweigtes Schattenmuster an der Decke projiziert, wenn die Leuchte leuchtet.
Größe — Bei der Bestellung auswählen
Leuchtmittel sind nicht enthalten. Jeder Arm benötigt eine E12 (US) oder E14 (international) Kerzenlampen-Fassung. Wir empfehlen 2–4W LED E12/E14 Kerzenlampen in 2700K Warmweiß. Der warme Ton ergänzt das Messingskelett und verstärkt den Schatteneffekt an der Decke — die warme Lichtquelle erzeugt schärfere Schatten als kaltweiße Leuchtmittel. Ein kleiner kugelförmiger oder zylindrischer LED-Strahler passt gut in den offenen Keramikschirm.

Welche Größe passt zu meinem Esszimmer? +
Die 9er-Ausführung (∅ 67 cm) eignet sich für Esstische bis 150 cm und kleinere Speisezimmer, wo ein kompakterer Kronleuchter proportional besser wirkt. Die 12er-Ausführung (∅ 78 cm) ist ideal für Standard-Esstische mit 4–6 Plätzen (150–180 cm) und die vielseitigste Option für offene Wohnbereiche. Die 18er-Ausführung (∅ 89 cm) ist für großzügige Speisezimmer, lange Tische (180–210 cm) und Eingangshallen konzipiert, wo maximale visuelle Dichte und Schattenspiel an der Decke erwünscht sind. Mit zunehmender Kopfzahl wird die Verzweigungssilhouette dichter und der Deckenschafteneffekt ausgeprägter.
Wie funktioniert der Deckenschafteneffekt? +
Die weißen Keramikschirme sind oben und unten offen – das E12/E14-Leuchtmittel in jedem Schirm gibt Licht nach unten (als diffuser Glanz durch die Keramik) und nach oben (direkt aus der offenen Krone) ab. Das nach oben gerichtete Licht trifft auf die Messingarme und wirft deren verzweigte Geometrie als Schattenmuster an die Decke über der Leuchte. Der Effekt ist bei gedimmtem Licht am sichtbarsten – je niedriger die Umgebungshelligkeit, desto deutlicher werden die Schattenmuster. Warmweiße Leuchtmittel (2700K) erzeugen die wärmste und atmosphärischste Variante dieses Effekts.
Sind die Keramikschirme zerbrechlich? +
Gebrannte Keramik ist unter normalen Deckenmontagebedingungen strapazierfähig, bricht oder zerbricht aber, wenn sie während der Installation direkt gegen eine harte Oberfläche schlägt. Behandeln Sie die Schirme beim Zusammenbau sorgfältig – vermeiden Sie Schläge gegen die Messingarme oder zwischen den Schirmen. Nach der Installation sind die Schirme stationär und keiner täglichen Beanspruchung ausgesetzt. Da sie von Hand gefertigt sind, sind kleine Unterschiede in Form, Oberflächenstruktur und Farbton zwischen den einzelnen Stücken normal und typisch für den handwerklichen Herstellungsprozess.
Ist es dimmbar? +
Ja, wenn Sie dimmbare E12/E14-LED-Kerzenlampen und einen kompatiblen TRIAC-Wanddimmer (beide separat erhältlich) verwenden. Wählen Sie beim Kauf von LED-Leuchtmitteln die Option "dimmbar" und vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr Dimmer für LED-Lasten geeignet ist. Das Dimmen des Aldean auf 30–50% erzeugt typischerweise den besten Deckenschafteneffekt – das reduzierte Umgebungslicht macht die nach oben projizierten Schattenmuster dramatischer und deutlicher sichtbar.

The bloom is glazed by brush; the branch beneath it is finished the same careful way — seventeen numbered metal finishes, from bright brass to blackened iron, so the stem matches the room the flowers will live in.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
