Spanish Alabaster Stone · Cascading Foyer Chandelier · Hand-Cut · Estate-Scale

A vertical cascading alabaster chandelier — a brass canopy carries forty-plus graduated chains, each ending in a hand-cut, hand-polished disc of natural Spanish alabaster stone. The discs gather in three soft tiers, reading as a column of milky warm-white stone above a glowing pool of light.

Real alabaster stone — quarried in Aragón, Spain and honed by hand, not alabaster-effect glass. Scaled for two-story foyers, double-height great rooms, grand-staircase wells, and luxury hotel lobbies with 16 ft / 5 m ceilings and above.

Real Spanish Alabaster Stone

Hand-cut Aragón alabaster — natural translucent stone, not alabaster-effect glass.

Two-Story Foyer Scale

59" / 150 cm drop for double-height foyers, grand staircases, 16 ft+ ceilings.

Luminous Diffused Glow

Real alabaster softens light into a warm ambient glow only natural stone produces.

Copper

Warm rose-brown chains read as a unified warm cascade with the cream alabaster.

White

Soft satin-white chains recede, foregrounding the alabaster discs as the visual focus.

Natural stone variations. Veining and translucency vary piece to piece — discs are tone-matched within each fixture, but your piece will not look identical to the photographs. Default bulbs are non-dimmable; TRIAC and 0–10V dimmable drivers available on request.

Region-matched bulb base — E12 (North America) or E14 (Europe / international). Bulbs run at line voltage (AC 110V or 220V, region-matched). E12 and E14 sockets share a similar look but are not interchangeable — confirm your region before ordering replacement bulbs.

Estate-scale fixture — reinforced ceiling support recommended. Weight exceeds standard junction-box rating. Anchor to a structural joist or install a heavy-duty fixture brace. Contact us for confirmed weight and freight logistics.

Is this real alabaster stone, or alabaster-effect glass? +

Real alabaster stone — hand-cut from Aragón, Spain. Many fixtures sold as "alabaster" in the US are actually frosted or molded glass. Real stone has the warm milky depth, cloud veining, and luminous glow only natural alabaster produces.

What ceiling height does it need? +

The 59" drop is scaled for ceilings of 16 ft / 5 m and above — two-story foyers, double-height great rooms, and grand-staircase wells. The bottom of the cascade should clear 7–8 ft above the floor. Custom drops available on request.

What bulbs does it take, and why does the base differ by region? +

Eight candelabra-style bulbs at line voltage — E12 base for North America (110V) and E14 base for Europe and most international markets (220V). The base is matched to your region at order. The two sizes look similar but are not interchangeable, so confirm your region before buying replacements. Use 2700–3000K E12 / E14 LEDs at 3–5W each, max 25W per socket.

Is it dimmable? +

Yes — TRIAC-compatible with dimmable E12 / E14 LEDs. For 0–10V hospitality dimming, request the alternative driver before ordering. See our guide on TRIAC vs 0–10V.

Is it suitable for hospitality and trade projects? +

Yes — hospitality-grade, suited to luxury hotel lobbies, double-height suites, restaurant private dining, and members'-club entries. Trade pricing and designer specification packets available. Contact us for matched stone batches and dimming protocol coordination.

Chapter I · Natural Stone

Sculpted by earth,
softened by light.

Rare natural alabaster, hand-carved by master artisans and illuminated from within. Every piece is unrepeatable — a singular convergence of geology and craft.

A Story in Stone

"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."

Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.

Natural Character

No two stones
are ever alike.

Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate. Five expressive patterns emerge most consistently in our collection.

Pure

Pure

Clear Surface

A near-uniform honey surface with barely perceptible variation — the rarest and most meditative expression of the stone.

Ink Marbling

Ink Marbling

Flowing Veins

Soft, fluid grey veining reminiscent of East Asian ink painting — atmospheric, unhurried, deeply contemplative.

Lightning Veins

Lightning Veins

Sharp Branching

Bold, branching mineral lines that fracture the surface with dramatic precision — striking from any angle and in any light.

Ice Crack

Ice Crack

Angular Fractures

Geometric fissures suspended within the stone — sculptural formations that diffuse and scatter light with quiet drama.

Snowflake

Snowflake

Crystalline Flecks

Suspended constellations of lighter crystalline matter — a delicate drift across the surface that catches light from within.

!

Natural Variance Is Not a Defect

Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

For Every Space

One material,
every room in the home.

From the grandeur of a double-height chandelier to the intimate glow of a bedside lamp — alabaster scales with intention, adapting to every room's rhythm without sacrificing presence.

From Quarry to Creation

Five stages of
quiet craftsmanship.

Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.

Selection
Selection

Material Selection

Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.

Cutting
Cutting

Precision Cutting

Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.

Shaping
Shaping

Sculpting

Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.

Polishing
Polishing

Hand Polishing

Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.

Assembly
Assembly

Final Assembly

LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

To own an alabaster lamp is to welcome a piece of natural sculpture into your home — shaped by the earth over millennia, refined by artisans over weeks, and completed only in the moment it is illuminated.

Care
Important · Handling & Installation

Treat it as the
rare object it is.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.

  • 01
Never lift by the power cord. The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
  • 02
Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
  • 03
Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.

Kitchen

Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.

Dining Room

For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.

Bedroom

If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
