Installation
- Plug-in installation. No hardwiring required — plug into a standard wall outlet matching your selected plug type.
- Place on a stable level surface. Hardwood, tile, or low-pile carpet preferred; ensure floor is level.
- Two-person handling for the Standard and Grand sizes. Lift from the base of the figure, not the upper canopy.
- Cord routing. 59″ plug cord exits at the base — plan placement near a wall outlet or use a UL-listed extension cord matched to your region.
- Freight delivery. Ships in custom-fitted crate — un-crate slowly and inspect the matte-black finish before placement.

Which size should I choose? +
The Compact (63″) suits primary-suite seating, gallery niches, and bedside placements. The Standard (70.8″) suits great-room reading corners, library and study interiors, and most luxury-suite seating areas. The Grand (78.7″) is built for statement entry foyers, gallery interiors, and double-height great-room corners. Ceilings under 9 ft, choose Compact or Standard; 10 ft+, the Grand reads correctly.
Why fiberglass instead of cast metal? +
Fiberglass-reinforced plastic allows the figurative form to be hand-laid in a single continuous piece — impossible to achieve in cast metal at this scale without visible seams. The result is a lighter fixture (easier to place and reposition) with a sculptural matte-black surface that reads as solid mass rather than a hollow shell. The internal structure is reinforced with concealed metal hardware at base and canopy.
Is it dimmable? +
The default integrated LED is non-dimming and will not work with standard TRIAC wall dimmers. TRIAC-dimmable wiring is available as a custom build — please specify when contacting us before ordering. The dimmable variant is compatible with Lutron Caséta, Diva, and forward-phase wall dimmers when used with a switched outlet. See our dimming protocols guide.

How do I clean the matte black finish? +
Dust with a soft dry microfiber cloth only. For light fingerprints or smudges, use a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with distilled water. Do not use solvents, ammonia, alcohol-based cleaners, or abrasive cloths — these will dull the matte finish or leave permanent streaks. Keep the lamp away from direct sunlight to preserve the matte black tone over time.
