Italian-Style Marble · TRIAC-Dimmable LED · Cylindrical Pendant

A slim cylindrical marble pendant in the language of contemporary minimalist lighting — a tall narrow cylinder hand-cut from a single block of natural marble, capped at top and bottom with slim black metal collars and suspended on a simple cord. The proportion is reductive: one stone form, one vertical line, one pool of light at the open base.

Each cylinder is hand-cut from Italian-style marble — the natural veining shows up most dramatically on the slim vertical face, with cloud-like patterns running the full length of the stone. Light glows through the marble where it's thinnest and pools out the open base, suiting kitchen islands, bedside drops, dining tables, stairwells, and clustered installations over kitchen islands.

Hand-Cut Marble Cylinder

Each tube is cut and finished from a single block of Italian-style marble — natural veining unique to every piece.

TRIAC Dimmable LED

Built-in 3000K warm-white LED, dimmable on a standard wall dimmer — no bulbs to replace.

Slim Vertical Form

Tall narrow cylinder reads as a sculptural drop — perfect single or in clusters at staggered heights.

Calacatta Viola Style

Cream marble with dramatic black-and-violet veining and gold accents — the statement option, as pictured.

Statuario Style · White

Clean white marble with subtle gray veining — quiet and architectural, suits Scandinavian and minimalist interiors.

Nero Marquina Style · Black

Deep black marble with bright white veining — bold contrast for modern, gallery, and high-design interiors.

Hand-cut natural marble. Each cylinder is cut and polished from a single block of Italian-style marble — natural veining patterns, color saturation, and translucency vary piece to piece. The piece pictured is representative; your exact veining will differ. Default integrated LED is TRIAC-dimmable warm white (3000K) — pairs with a standard wall dimmer for smooth brightness control. Other color temperatures (4000K neutral, 5000K daylight) and non-dimmable versions are available on request.

Best For Kitchen islands (clusters) · Bedside drops · Dining tables · Stairwells · Powder rooms · Modern, minimalist & Italian-style interiors

  • Hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box — professional installation recommended.
  • Hanging cord supplied at 150 cm (59″); cord length can be adjusted on-site for ceiling height.
  • For kitchen-island clusters, hang the bottom of the cylinder 30–36″ above the counter and stagger cord lengths for a sculptural drop.
  • For bedside drops, hang the bottom 18–24″ above the mattress on each side.
  • No bulbs to install — integrated LED is built in and pre-wired.
  • For dimming control, pair with a standard TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer.
  • Indoor only · clean marble with a soft dry cloth or barely damp cloth; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners which etch natural stone.

How do I cluster these over a kitchen island? +

For an island under 5 ft, 2 pendants spaced 24–30″ apart work well. For 5–7 ft islands, 3 pendants. For 7 ft+ islands, 4 or more. Stagger the cord lengths slightly for a more sculptural drop, and hang the bottom of the cylinders 30–36″ above the counter. Each pendant ships individually so you can mount them on a single rail or separate canopies.

Will my marble look exactly like the photo? +

No — and that's the point. Each cylinder is hand-cut from a fresh block of natural marble, so veining patterns, color depth, and translucency shift from piece to piece. The photo shows representative character; your pendants will be uniquely yours. We can occasionally accommodate dramatic / quieter veining preferences — please contact us before ordering.

Is the Opus dimmable? +

Yes — the default integrated LED is TRIAC-dimmable warm white (3000K). Pair it with a standard TRIAC wall dimmer and the marble glow dims smoothly from full brightness down to soft ambient. If you prefer a non-dimmable version, please contact us — that's a custom build.

Can I get a different color temperature? +

The standard light is warm white 3000K — best for residential dining, kitchen, and living spaces, and most flattering for the marble's natural tone. If you need neutral white (4000K) or daylight (5000K), please contact us before ordering — custom CT options are available on request.

How is the marble different across the three options? +

Calacatta Viola style is cream marble with dramatic black-and-violet veining and gold accents — the boldest option (as pictured). Statuario style is white marble with subtle gray veining — quieter and architectural. Nero Marquina style is deep black marble with bright white veining — high-contrast and modern. All three are hand-cut from natural Italian-style marble.

The Marble Series

Sculptural fixtures hewn from natural stone — each one carrying the signature of geology, time, and the human hand.

Born of Time

Pressure, heat, and one hundred million years — nature's slowest brushwork. Each lamp wears a pattern that exists once, and never again.

The Material

From Stone to Illumination

Marble is not a finish. It is a material with a memory.

A metamorphic rock, marble is born of recrystallized carbonate minerals — limestone subjected to heat and pressure deep within the earth's crust over geological time. Its distinctive veining, the subtle gradient of its color, the cool weight of its surface — all are records of the forces that shaped it across millions of years.

"Where a manufactured material repeats itself, marble can only be itself. Each piece is the only piece — the sole physical expression of a particular vein, formed once and quarried once."

Signatures of Stone

Three Marks of Authenticity

Three qualities you will only find in genuine, quarried marble — and never in anything cast, printed, or manufactured to imitate it.

i. Distinctive marble veining — every pattern unique
Vena

Distinctive Veining

Each vein traces the path of mineral seepage millions of years ago. Nature's own brushwork — a pattern that exists once, on this lamp, and nowhere else on earth.

ii. Subtle natural marble color variations — cream, ivory, pearl grey
Tono

Subtle Tonality

Cream, ivory and pearl grey deepen in soft gradients, occasionally crossed by veins of warm caramel. Quiet, natural tones that grace every interior style.

iii. The cool, smooth tactile quality of polished natural marble
Tatto

Cool, Tactile Hand

A density and coolness only ancient stone can offer. Marble holds the air around it — substantial, calming, real. A weight you feel before you see.

From Quarry to Hearth

Five Stages of Slow Craft

From the raw block extracted at the quarry, to the moment the lamp is wired and tested in our atelier — every fixture passes through five hand-guided stages.

N° 01 / Cava
Quarrying — solid blocks extracted from natural marble quarry

Quarrying

Solid blocks are extracted from the foothills, where geological forces left their finest seams. Only stones with sound structure and clean veining are selected.

N° 02 / Lastra
Slab cutting — diamond blade revealing marble veining

Slab Cutting

Diamond-tipped blades part the block into precise slabs — each cut is a first reveal of the unique veining hidden inside the stone for millennia.

N° 03 / Scolpire
Shaping and carving — skilled hand work on marble

Shaping & Carving

Each form is cut by skilled hands — a patient negotiation between the designer's intent and the grain of the stone itself.

N° 04 / Lucidare
Hollowing and polishing — interior bored, exterior honed

Hollow & Polish

The interior is bored to delicate walls so warm light may pass through. The exterior is honed and hand-polished to its final, luminous finish.

N° 05 / Montaggio
Assembly and wiring — final integration in the atelier

Assembly

Wiring, sockets and fittings are integrated by our atelier team. Each fixture is bench-tested and inspected before it leaves the workshop.
