Sculpted by earth,
softened by light.
A collection of natural alabaster lighting — each piece shaped over millennia, illuminated from within, and entirely one of a kind.
"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed over millions of years through the slow crystallization of gypsum, alabaster is one of the world's oldest decorative stones. When illuminated, it reveals a quiet luminosity — soft, golden, deeply human. Our collection honors this rare material through designs that let the stone speak first.
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster is a living record of its own geology. Over millions of years, the stone develops distinctive veining, crystalline structures, and subtle color variations — signatures that cannot be replicated or specified. Five recognizable patterns emerge most often in our collection.
Pure
Clear SurfaceA near-uniform honeyed surface with barely-visible variation — the rarest and most serene expression of the stone.
Ink Marbling
Flowing VeinsSoft, flowing gray veining reminiscent of traditional ink painting — fluid, meditative, and atmospheric.
Lightning Veins
Sharp BranchingSharp, branching lines of darker mineral deposits that cut across the stone like a bolt through a night sky.
Ice Crack
Angular FracturesAngular, geometric fracture lines frozen within the stone — sculptural fissures that catch and scatter light.
Snowflake
Crystalline FlecksA scattered constellation of lighter crystalline flecks that drift across the surface like falling snow.
Natural Variance Is Not a Defect
Because alabaster is a natural stone, every piece we ship will carry its own unique veining and color variation. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate a particular pattern — the stone decides. Texture variations, including ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack patterns, and snowflake flecks, are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform or predictable finish, this collection may not suit your expectations — we kindly ask you to consider this before ordering.
One material,
every room in the home.
From the grandeur of a living-room chandelier to the quiet glow of a reading-corner floor lamp — alabaster adapts to every scale, every mood, every ritual. Here are six of the spaces where the stone feels most at home.
Five stages of
quiet craftsmanship.
Every alabaster lamp we make begins as raw stone and ends in your hands — passing through a sequence of quiet, precise steps performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material.

Material Selection
Raw blocks are hand-picked at the quarry for color, translucence, and structural integrity.

Precision Cutting
Diamond tools slice rough blocks into workable panels, guided by the stone's natural grain.

Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each piece by hand — translating drawings into form.

Hand Polishing
Surfaces are refined through progressively finer grits until the stone reveals its inner glow.

Final Assembly
LED modules, brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are installed and inspected piece by piece.
Owning an alabaster lamp is akin to owning a piece of natural sculpture — shaped by the earth, refined by artisans, and completed only when it is lit.
Radilum Design Studio

Treat it like
the stone it is.
Alabaster is genuine natural stone, so each lamp is substantial in weight. A few simple precautions will protect the piece — and the electrical integrity — for decades to come.
- 01Never lift by the power cord. The cord is not load-bearing. Pulling on it can damage internal LED wiring and cause connection failures over time.
- 02Always support the body. When moving or installing, cradle the stone itself with both hands. Two people are recommended for larger fixtures.
- 03Clean gently, dust often.A dry soft cloth is enough. Avoid water, solvents, or abrasive cleaners — they can dull the stone's surface.
See it in motion.
