Un colgante con festón en el lenguaje de la iluminación posmoderna italiana de los años 70 — pequeñas esferas de alabastro cuelgan de cadenas de latón que forman una catenaria entre ganchos de techo fijos, creando graciles curvas arqueadas en toda la habitación. La forma es mitad arquitectónica, mitad joyería: una guirnalda de cadena puntuada por orbes de alabastro luminosos.
Cada globo está cortado a mano de un único bloque de alabastro español extraído en Aragón — el veteado natural de la nube difunde la luz cálida a través de la piedra con un carácter más suave que el cristal o el acrílico. Disponible de 1 a 5 cabezales, con longitud de cadena dimensionada para el número correspondiente de bahías de festón. La pieza mostrada es representativa; tus globos serán únicos. Esta es la característica de la piedra natural, no un defecto.

La versión de 2 cabezales necesita 2 ganchos, la de 3 cabezales necesita 3 ganchos, la de 4 cabezales necesita 4 ganchos, y la de 5 cabezales necesita 5 ganchos además del dosel principal. Instalación
- Se cablea a una caja de unión de techo principal para el dosel — se recomienda enfáticamente instalación profesional.
- Las versiones de múltiples cabezales requieren ganchos de techo adicionales para suspender el colgador — instala los ganchos antes de izar; las catenarias de cadena se forman por el espaciado de ganchos y no pueden retensarse después.
- Planifica la colocación de ganchos en un croquis primero: 2 cabezales necesita 2 ganchos (una bahía de colgador), 5 cabezales necesita 5 ganchos (cuatro bahías de colgador). Espacios ganchos equitativamente en la carrera del colgador.

¿Cuántos ganchos de techo necesito? +
Un gancho por cabeza, más la dosel principal. Es decir: 2 cabezas = 2 ganchos, 3 cabezas = 3 ganchos, 4 cabezas = 4 ganchos, 5 cabezas = 5 ganchos. Los ganchos no están incluidos — tu electricista o instalador deberá adquirir ganchos de techo de alta resistencia calificados para el peso de la cadena. Planifica la colocación antes del montaje final; el arco de la ondulación se forma naturalmente por el espaciado de los ganchos y no puede re-tensarse después.
¿Por qué la longitud de la cadena escala con el número de cabezas? +
La longitud total de la cadena cubre la caída hasta el dosel más las ondulaciones entre ganchos. Cada cabeza adicional añade aproximadamente 39,4″ (100 cm) de cadena — lo suficiente para colgar de un gancho, descender en una ondulación y subir hacia el siguiente gancho. Para techos inusualmente altos o espacios amplios, contáctanos para longitudes de cadena personalizadas.
¿Se verá mi alabastro exactamente como en la foto? +
No — y ese es el punto. Cada globo está tallado a mano a partir de un bloque fresco de alabastro de Aragón, por lo que las vetas de nubes, la profundidad del color y la translucidez varían de una pieza a otra. La foto muestra un carácter representativo; tus globos serán únicamente tuyos. No podemos igualar patrones exactos de veteado, pero sí igualamos el tono dentro de un mismo pedido.
¿Es dimmable la lámpara colgante ondulante? +
Sí, con las bombillas adecuadas. Cada globo acepta una bombilla de base candelabro E12 (EE.UU.) o E14 (UE). Instala bombillas LED candelabro dimmable en un regulador de pared TRIAC y la lámpara colgante se atenuará suavemente. Se recomienda blanco cálido 2700K–3000K para realzar el brillo del alabastro.
¿Cuántas cabezas debo pedir sobre una mesa de comedor? +

We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
