Para pantallas de papel washi, se recomienda un LED de 6–10W a 2700K blanco cálido con difusor esmerilado u opalescente — la salida suave se distribuye de manera uniforme a través del papel translúcido sin crear un punto caliente visible. Evita bombillas de vidrio transparente o filamento desnudo superiores a 4W — el filamento puede aparecer como un punto brillante a través del papel washi fino.

¿Qué es el papel washi de mora? +
El washi es papel hecho a mano de origen japonés, elaborado a partir de las fibras de la corteza de la planta kozo (mora). Las fibras largas e entrelazadas crean una lámina simultáneamente más resistente y más translúcida que el papel de pulpa de madera, difundiendo la luz a través de su superficie en lugar de bloquearla, produciendo un brillo cálido y suave con textura de fibra visible. Dado que cada lámina se forma manualmente, el grosor, la distribución de fibras y el patrón de superficie varían ligeramente entre tonos. Esta variación es intrínseca al oficio, no un defecto.
¿Cómo cuelgo una luminaria enchufable? +
El método más común es utilizar un gancho de techo: un pequeño gancho adhesivo o atornillable montado en el techo en el punto de suspensión deseado. Drapa el cable negro sobre el gancho, ajusta la longitud de caída y enchufa en una toma de corriente cercana. El interruptor inline en el cable controla la luz de forma independiente. No se requiere cableado y no se hacen agujeros en el techo si se utiliza un gancho adhesivo. Para configuraciones pesadas o altas, se recomienda un gancho de techo atornillable con capacidad de carga.
¿Qué configuración se adapta a mi espacio? +
Para techos estándar (2,4–3 m): las versiones 3 cabezales S, M o L son apropiadas — elige según el diámetro para que coincida con tu mesa o espacio. Para techos más altos (3–4 m): los modelos 5 cabezales (A 270 cm) o Singular 220 cm crean un elemento dramáticamente vertical. Para espacios de doble altura o atrios superiores a 4 m: las versiones Singular 340 o 470 cm están diseñadas específicamente para llenar un vacío alto con una única forma de washi ininterrumpida. Siempre confirma la altura libre del techo antes de pedir una configuración alta.
¿Cómo cuido un panel de papel washi? +
El papel washi es duradero pero debe mantenerse seco. Evita instalar en áreas húmedas o cerca de fuentes de humedad directa. Limpia suavemente con un cepillo suave seco o un accesorio de aspiradora de baja succión — no limpies con un paño húmedo. Los pequeños abolladuras o arrugas a veces se pueden suavizar humedeciendo ligeramente el área afectada con vapor a distancia, luego dejando secar naturalmente. Mantén alejado del contacto directo ya que los aceites de los dedos pueden manchar con el tiempo.

Q1. Does it really need no wiring or electrician?
Correct — no junction box, no breaker, no electrician. Wall sconces mount with a simple included bracket; pendants hang from a discreet ceiling hook and swag across to your outlet. A paper template and all the hardware are in the box, and most installs take about five minutes.
Q2. What outlet, voltage and cord does it use?
Each light ships with the right plug for your region — US (Type A, 120V), EU (Type C, 230V) or UK (Type G, 230V) — on a standard cord of roughly 2–3 m, with longer lengths on request. Run the cord discreetly along trim with the included clips, or let a fabric or braided cord hang as part of the look. Need a specific plug or length? Tell us at checkout.
Q3. What bulb does it use, and is it dimmable?
Bulbs vary by fixture, so check the one listed on each product page. Most take a standard screw socket — E26 in North America, E27 elsewhere — while a few use other fittings. Whatever the bulb, every light is built for a warm 3000K glow and is dimmable with a compatible dimmable bulb plus an inline dimmer or smart plug.
Q4. Can I get one of your hardwired designs as a plug-in?
Almost always, yes. Tell us the model you love and your preferred cord colour and length, and we will build a plug-in cord-and-switch version — the same design and finish, ready for any outlet. Email us and we will confirm feasibility and pricing.

Every light is bench-tested before it leaves our workshop and backed by worry-free after-sales support covering the electrical components and structural integrity. Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
