Floral Chandelier · Antique Brass · Pink Porcelain Roses · Pink Glass Shades · 3 or 6 Heads

The Rosalie Chandelier extends the same botanical vocabulary across multiple arms: an antique brass frame with pink porcelain roses winding along its length from the central hub outward — each ceramic flower individually hand-formed, its petals layered in the manner of an open garden rose. At each arm tip, a pink frosted glass shade sculpted as a rose in bloom — the shade form continuing the botanical motif of the ceramic decoration below it, so the entire fixture reads as a single continuous floral composition from canopy to shade edge.

The frosted pink glass diffuses the E12 source into a warm, blush-tinted glow at each arm — the light arriving at the surface below with a soft, pink-warm quality that is distinct from any clear or white-glass shade. Two sizes — a compact 3-head version at ∅ 65 cm and a wider 6-head version at ∅ 78 cm — both share the same 42 cm body height and a 50 cm hanging chain adjustable at installation.

Frame & Arms Antique Brass Aged brass throughout — warm, complex patina that reads as period-authentic alongside the pink porcelain and glass.
Decoration Pink Porcelain Roses Hand-formed ceramic roses twining along each arm — layered petals, fired and glazed in soft pink.
Shades Pink Frosted Glass Rose-form frosted glass at each arm tip — sculpted petals diffuse light into a warm blush glow.
3 Heads ∅ 65 cm
Diameter 65 cm ∅ 25.6″
Height 42 cm 16.5″
Chain 50 cm 19.7″

Bedrooms, breakfast nooks, and small dining tables up to 120 cm. Also works as an intimate living room accent over a side table or reading corner.

6 Heads ∅ 78 cm
Diameter 78 cm ∅ 30.7″
Height 42 cm 16.5″
Chain 50 cm 19.7″

Standard dining rooms and living rooms. Suited to 4–6 seat dining tables (140–180 cm) where the wider floral spread can be appreciated from seated positions.

Bulbs are not included. Each arm uses one E12 (US) or E14 (international) candelabra socket. A 2–4W LED E12/E14 candelabra bulb at 2700K warm white with a frosted glass casing is recommended — the warm tone produces the richest pink glow through the frosted glass shades. Avoid cool-white bulbs (4000K+) which read flat through pink glass. A small globe or cylindrical E12/E14 LED also works; avoid oversized flame-tip shapes that may extend beyond the shade opening.

3-head or 6-head — which suits my space? +

The 3-head (∅ 65 cm) suits smaller dining tables (up to 120 cm), bedrooms, and intimate living room positions where the chandelier is an accent rather than a dominant overhead source. The scale is well-proportioned for a round or square table for two to four. The 6-head (∅ 78 cm) covers a standard 4–6 seat dining table (140–180 cm) and is better suited to rooms where the chandelier needs to be the primary visual anchor. Both versions are the same height (42 cm), so the only meaningful difference for ceiling height purposes is the diameter and arm count.

What is the light colour like through the pink glass shades? +

The frosted pink glass tints the light that passes through it — warm white from the bulb becomes a soft blush glow at the shade surface and on the table or wall below. The effect is most noticeable in dim conditions: at low brightness, the pink quality is more pronounced and atmospheric; at full brightness in a well-lit room, the shade appears as warm cream-pink light. Using 2700K warm white bulbs maximises the richness of the pink tint; cool-white bulbs produce a flatter, less flattering result through pink glass.

Are the porcelain roses fragile? +

Kiln-fired ceramic is durable under normal conditions but will chip or crack under direct hard impact — handle with care during installation and avoid striking the roses against walls or other hard edges. Once installed, the ceramic roses will not be subject to daily mechanical stress. Dust with a soft dry cloth; do not use water or chemical cleaners directly on the ceramic glazing. The roses are fixed to the arms and are not removable.

Is it dimmable? +

Yes, when fitted with dimmable E12/E14 LED candelabra bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer switch (both sold separately). Specify “dimmable” when purchasing LED bulbs and confirm your dimmer is rated for LED loads. For the Rosalie, dimming to 20–40% is particularly effective: at low brightness the pink frosted glass shades produce a distinctly warm blush glow that suits the romantic character of the fixture. The chandelier works well in dining and bedroom settings at low ambient levels.

— for the corner of the world you keep soft —

Meet the romancethat never wilts.

Fresh flowers last a week. These were shaped by hand and fired in flame to bloom above your table for decades — a bouquet of porcelain and aged brass that opens, every evening, the moment you reach for the switch.

In a hurried world, keep one corner where time is allowed to slow.

True Porcelain, Tempered in Flame

Elegance That Time Deepens
§ 01 · The Artisan Story

A poem written in clay and flame.

Three materials, three temperaments — soft earth, patient fire, and metal that grows lovelier with age. Together they make a flower that time cannot touch.

The Bloom
« la porcelaine »
Hand-Sculpted Porcelain.
Each petal begins as a pinch of soft clay, curled and thinned between an artisan's fingers until its edge turns nearly translucent. No two petals repeat — because no two touches do.

The Stem
« le laiton »
Brass, Softened by Time.
The stems and leaves are brass, hand-burnished to an antique patina — the quiet glow of a family heirloom rather than the glare of something new. Elegance that deepens as the years pass.
Faceted crystal drop catching warm lamplight
The Dew
« le cristal »
Crystal, Like Morning Dew.
Faceted crystal drops hang among the blooms like dew that never dries. By day a quiet sparkle; by night they scatter the lamplight into tiny drifting rainbows.
§ 02 · The Making

From soft earth to eternal bloom, in five patient steps.

Most lamps are assembled in minutes. Ours pass through human hands and a wall of fire — this is the whole journey, nothing skipped.

Wedging soft porcelain clay by hand
i
Étape I « la terre »

Waking the clay

Fine porcelain clay is wedged and kneaded by hand until every air bubble is pressed out — the warmth of the maker's palms is, quite literally, worked into the material.
Fingertips sculpting a porcelain petal
ii
Étape II « les pétales »

Sculpting the petals

The heart of it. Petal by petal, an artisan pinches, curls, and feathers the clay — a single blossom can take dozens of individual petals, each one shaped, judged, and set by eye alone.
Porcelain blooms fired in the glowing kiln
iii
Étape III « le feu »

The trial of fire

The blooms enter the kiln and are fired at 1200°C — hot enough to turn soft earth into true porcelain. What survives the fire will not warp, fade, or wilt; it is, in the oldest sense, finished.
Hand-glazing the blush on fired petals
iv
Étape IV « le fard »

The blush

Each fired bloom is glazed and tinted by brush — a wash of cream, a blush at the petal's tip — the delicate gradients that make the flowers look freshly picked rather than manufactured.
Assembling blooms onto aged brass branches
v
Étape V « le bouquet »

Gathering the bouquet

Blooms, leaves, and crystal drops are arranged onto the aged-brass branches one by one — composed like a florist's arrangement, then wired, tested, and checked before the journey to you.
— et enfin, la couleur —

One bloom, three blushes.

Every design in the collection is hand-tinted in one of three glazes — the brush decides the mood, you decide the room.

— et la tige, en laiton —

The seventeen you can actually order.

The bloom is glazed by brush; the branch beneath it is finished the same careful way — seventeen numbered metal finishes, from bright brass to blackened iron, so the stem matches the room the flowers will live in.

Finishes 01–17 · brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, chrome, black · the collection's signature « Laiton Vieilli » (03, Antiqued Brass) shown throughout this page

Specifying a Finish

Order by number, not by name. "Antique brass," "aged brass," "burnished brass" — ask five workshops what those mean and five different metals come back. Finish 03 is the same physical sample on the atelier bench and on your packing list.

And because no screen renders metal honestly, we ship the physical swatch before anything is committed. Hold it beside the porcelain glaze you've chosen, at the hour you actually use the room — then send the number.

Choose your stem finish on each product page — the bloom stays yours, the metal is now, too.

§ 03 · By Day
lights off —

A sculpture that happens to be a lamp.

Switched off, it earns its place on looks alone — a still-life relief of porcelain blooms and brass leaves that sits as calmly against floral wallpaper as against plain plaster. Guests will assume it's art first, and they won't be wrong.

§ 03 · By Night
lights on —

The room becomes an enchanted garden.

Then evening comes. Light pours through the frosted petals and catches every crystal drop, and the whole bouquet begins to glow from within — walls washed in warm bloom-shadows, the room suddenly somewhere out of a storybook.

§ 04 · The Collection

One evening, three rooms in bloom.

Follow the light through the house — dinner beneath the chandelier, roses down the hallway, and a last bloom glowing at your pillow. Open each window and step inside.

§ 05 · The Promise

A gift worth handing down.

Porcelain deserves to be treated like porcelain — from our workbench to your doorstep, here is how we keep that promise.

i
Inspected out of the kiln
Every bloom is examined against the light after firing — petals, glaze, and fit — before it is allowed onto a branch.
ii
Wrapped petal by petal
Custom-molded foam, blooms individually cushioned, double-boxed — packed the way museums move ceramics.
iii
Cared for after arrival
If anything arrives less than perfect, photograph it and write to us — our support team will make it right.
An Honest Note
« une lettre de l'atelier »

No two of our petals curl quite the same way — each was shaped by fingertips, not a mold. The blush of the glaze shifts a little from bloom to bloom, because the brush loads a little differently every time.

None of these is a flaw. They are the signature of the hands that made yours — the one thing a factory line can never copy.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.

Kitchen

Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.

Dining Room

For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.

Bedroom

If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
