Elk travertijnpatroon is uniek. Dit is een echte natuursteenhanglamp, dus het aderpatroon, de porieën en de toongradiënt op uw exemplaar zullen niet exact overeenkomen met de catalogusfoto's. De vorm, afmetingen en algehele warme crèmekleur zullen overeenkomen — maar het oppervlaktekarakter is uniek.
Plaatsing dimmer-driver is van belang. De TRIAC-dimmingdriver voor deze fixture moet buiten de plafondkapsel worden geïnstalleerd — meestal in de plafondholte of muur — niet ingesloten in de kapsel zelf. Deel deze vereiste alstublieft mee aan uw elektricien voordat u gaat installeren.

Installatie
- Inbouwinstallatie in het plafond — een erkend elektricien wordt aanbevolen.
- Alle bevestigingsbeslag en een 59″ / 150 cm hangdraad zijn inbegrepen. De draadlengte kan ter plaatse worden aangepast.
- Belangrijk: de TRIAC-dimmingdriver moet buiten de kapsel worden geplaatst — meestal in de plafondholte. Sluit de driver niet in in de kapselbehuizing, omdat dit de dimmingprestaties en warmteafvoer aantast.
- Voor ontbijtbars en keukeneilanden, hang 75–90 cm (30–36″) boven het werkblad.
- Voor eettafels, hang 75–85 cm (30–34″) boven het tafeloppervlak voor het beste evenwicht tussen licht en vrije ruimte.
- Behandel de steen voorzichtig tijdens de installatie — natuurlijk travertijn is weliswaar stevig, maar kan beschadigd raken als het tegen een scherpe rand wordt gestoten.

Is dit echte travertijnsteen of een composiet met steenachtige uitstraling? +
Het is echt natuurlijk travertijn — uit de groeve gewonnen, gesneden en afgewerkt uit originele steen. Dit betekent dat het oppervlak authentieke natuurlijke putjes (kleine holtes kenmerkend voor travertijn), unieke aderpatronen en subtiele toongradiënten vertoont. Het is geen gedrukte of gegoten composiet.
Ziet mijn lamp er hetzelfde uit als op de foto's? +
De vorm, afmetingen en algemene warme beige-kleur zullen exact overeenkomen. Het oppervlaktepatroon — aderrichting, putjedichtheid en toongradiënt — zal uniek zijn voor uw exemplaar, omdat elk stuk uit een ander gedeelte van de steen is gesneden. Wilt u een bepaalde patternstijl aanvragen (bijv. "meer uniform" of "sterker aderwerk"), neem dan vóór bestelling contact met ons op — wij zullen ons best doen om tegemoet te komen.
Waarom moet de dimmerstuurkaart buiten de baldakijn zitten? +
De TRIAC-dimmerstuurkaart geeft warmte af tijdens bedrijf. Indien ingesloten in de plafond-baldakijn met de lamp zelf, kan de stuurkaart oververhit raken — waardoor dimflikkering, voortijdige uitval of in extreme gevallen een hete baldakijn kunnen ontstaan. Door de stuurkaart in de plafondholte (of een ander geventileerd ruimte buiten de baldakijn) te plaatsen, garandeert u stabiele werking en lange levensduur van de stuurkaart.
Moet ik een lamp kopen? +
Nee. De hanglamp heeft een ingebouwde geïntegreerde LED — geen gloeilamp nodig, geen vervanging, geen compatibiliteitsproblemen. De module is nominaal ~18W bij 1260 lm (gelijkwaardig aan ongeveer een gloeilamp van 100W in helderheid, in warme witte toon).
Wat gebeurt er als de LED defect raakt? +
De geïntegreerde LED is gebouwd voor jaren betrouwbare werking. In het zeldzame geval van een defect, neem direct contact met ons op met uw SKU en ordergegevens, en wij regelen vervangingsservice. Wij raden zelfherstel niet aan — toegang tot de LED vereist voorzichtige behandeling van het lichaam uit natuursteen.
Is de lamp dimbaar? +
Ja — de Travertijn-hanglamp werkt met TRIAC-compatibele wanddimmers (bijv. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora). Belangrijk: de dimmerstuurkaart moet buiten de baldakijn worden geplaatst voor optimale werking. Bevestig dit vóór installatie met uw elektricien.
Welke maat moet ik kiezen? +
Als richtlijn: 1 kop (∅ 20 cm) geschikt voor nachtkasten, gangen of als klein accent. 2 koppen (L 55 cm) — perfect boven ontbijttafels, wastafelmeubels of kleine eettafels voor 2–4 personen. 3 koppen (L 100 cm) — het statement-formaat, ideaal voor keukeneilanden, lange eettafels (180 cm+) of open ruimtes.
Hoe maak ik travertijn schoon? +
Schakel de wandvoeding uit en laat de lamp afkoelen. Stof regelmatig af met een zachte droge doek of stofdweil. Voor dieper schoonmaken, afvegen met een zachte doek licht bevochtigd met water en mild pH-neutraal zeepwater — vermijd zure reinigingsmiddelen (azijn, citroen, citrusgebaseerd) die natuursteen aantasten. Gebruik geen schuursponsjes. De natuurlijke putjes zullen stof in de loop der tijd opvangen, wat onderdeel is van het materiaalkarakter.
Wat als de steen beschadigd aankomt? +
Natuursteen wordt zorgvuldig verpakt maar kan tijdens transport soms beschadigd raken. Mocht uw hanglamp beschadigd aankomen, neem dan binnen 48 uur na bezorging contact met ons op met foto's — wij regelen prompt een vervanger. Installeer geen beschadigd exemplaar.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
