Spanish Alabaster · Leather Suspension · Horizontal Linear Chandelier
A horizontal linear chandelier composed of interlocking alabaster rings — each ring hand-cut from a solid block of natural stone, joined into a continuous twisted helical chain that runs along a horizontal axis. The chain is suspended by leather straps from a slim ceiling canopy, and a continuous integrated LED runs through the alabaster, lighting the entire chain from within so the stone glows uniformly along its length.
Each ring is hand-cut from Spanish alabaster quarried in Aragón — the cloud-like veining and color depth vary block to block, so no two pieces are identical. Available in three lengths (1.1 m / 1.5 m / 2 m) for kitchen islands, dining tables, breakfast bars, conference tables, and long gallery corridors. The horizontal form is purpose-built for installations where length matters more than drop height — long surfaces, walkways, and bar runs. Suited to modern minimalist, contemporary, hospitality, and warm-organic interiors.

Hand-cut natural Spanish alabaster. Each ring is cut and polished by hand from a single block of Aragón alabaster — natural cloud veining, color depth, and translucency vary piece to piece. The piece you receive will not look identical to the photographs. This is the character of natural stone, not a flaw. Default integrated LED is warm white (3000K), non-dimmable. TRIAC-dimmable and 0–10V dimmable versions, as well as other color temperatures (4000K neutral, 5000K daylight), are available on request — please contact us before ordering. Custom builds may affect lead time.
Default canopy & suspension — note before ordering. Ships with a black single-head canopy and brown leather suspension straps by default, as standard. If you require a custom white rectangular canopy or alternative leather color, please contact us before ordering — these are no-charge customization options but must be specified at order.

Installation
- Hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box — professional installation recommended.
- Leather suspenders supplied at 150 cm (59″); length can be adjusted on-site by your electrician.
- Default canopy is black single-head canopy; if you need white rectangular canopy, contact us before ordering.
- Default leather suspenders are brown; alternative leather colors available on request.
- For kitchen islands, hang the bottom of the rings 30–36″ above the counter. For dining and conference tables, the same 30–36″ above the table surface.
- Verify horizontal clearance: ensure 6″ minimum free space at each end of the chain (Model B needs 5+ ft total wall clearance, Model C needs 7+ ft).
- No bulbs to install — integrated continuous LED is built in and pre-wired through the entire chain.
- Indoor only · clean alabaster with a soft dry cloth or barely damp cloth; avoid solvents, abrasives, and acidic household cleaners which can etch porous natural stone. Clean leather suspenders periodically with a leather conditioner.

FAQ
Which length suits my space? +
Model A (43.3″ / 110 cm) suits kitchen islands of 4–6 ft, breakfast bars, smaller dining tables seating 4, and entry consoles. Model B (59″ / 150 cm) is the most popular — it fits dining tables seating 6–8, kitchen islands of 6–8 ft, and standard conference tables. Model C (78.7″ / 200 cm) is built for grand dining tables seating 8–12, large kitchen islands, long bar runs, and gallery corridors. Match length to the surface below — the chandelier should be slightly shorter than the table or island it hangs over.
What canopy does it ship with? Can I change it? +
The default canopy is black single-head round canopy, which works in most installations. We also offer a white rectangular canopy as a no-charge customization — particularly suited to clean modern installations or coffered ceilings where a rectangular shape aligns better with the architecture. Both options are available; the rectangular white canopy must be specified before order. Contact us if you need a different finish, shape, or material on the canopy.
What color are the leather suspenders? +
The default leather is brown — a warm tan tone that complements the cream alabaster and works in most interiors. We can supply alternative leather colors (black, cognac, oxblood, custom-dyed) as a customization on request. Contact us before ordering with your preferred leather color.
Will my alabaster look exactly like the photo? +
No. Each ring is hand-cut from a fresh block of Aragón alabaster, so cloud veining patterns, color depth, and translucency vary piece to piece. Within a single chandelier, the rings are matched in tone for visual cohesion across the chain. Between separate orders, some natural variation is expected. The photograph shows representative character; your fixture will be unique.
Is the Twisted Ring dimmable? +
The default integrated LED is non-dimmable warm white (3000K). TRIAC-dimmable and 0–10V-dimmable versions are available as custom builds — please contact us before ordering and specify your preferred dimming protocol. For an explanation of the difference between TRIAC and 0–10V dimming and which one suits your installation, see our technical guide on dimming protocols. Custom builds may extend lead time.
Is it suitable for hospitality and commercial projects? +
Yes — this is a hospitality-grade fixture. The integrated LED with 3000K default, leather suspension, and three lengths make it well-suited to luxury hotel restaurants, private dining rooms, conference rooms, and bar runs. For project-quantity orders we coordinate matched veining tone within batches, dimming protocol, canopy specification, and leather color directly. Please contact us with your project specification at the earliest stage.
How does the LED light through the alabaster work? +
A continuous LED strip is integrated through the entire interior of the alabaster ring chain — when powered, light passes through the translucent stone walls and the entire chain glows uniformly along its length, with the cloud veining patterns visible as deeper and lighter areas. There are no visible bulbs or lamps; the alabaster is the light source. This is best appreciated in dim ambient conditions where the soft glow is the dominant illumination, paired with separate task lighting for direct workspace needs.

Sculpted by earth,
softened by light.
Rare natural alabaster, hand-carved by master artisans and illuminated from within. Every piece is unrepeatable — a singular convergence of geology and craft.
"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate. Five expressive patterns emerge most consistently in our collection.

Pure
Clear SurfaceA near-uniform honey surface with barely perceptible variation — the rarest and most meditative expression of the stone.

Ink Marbling
Flowing VeinsSoft, fluid grey veining reminiscent of East Asian ink painting — atmospheric, unhurried, deeply contemplative.

Lightning Veins
Sharp BranchingBold, branching mineral lines that fracture the surface with dramatic precision — striking from any angle and in any light.

Ice Crack
Angular FracturesGeometric fissures suspended within the stone — sculptural formations that diffuse and scatter light with quiet drama.

Snowflake
Crystalline FlecksSuspended constellations of lighter crystalline matter — a delicate drift across the surface that catches light from within.
Natural Variance Is Not a Defect
Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.
One material,
every room in the home.
From the grandeur of a double-height chandelier to the intimate glow of a bedside lamp — alabaster scales with intention, adapting to every room's rhythm without sacrificing presence.
Five stages of
quiet craftsmanship.
Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.

Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.

Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.

Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.

Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.

Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.
To own an alabaster lamp is to welcome a piece of natural sculpture into your home — shaped by the earth over millennia, refined by artisans over weeks, and completed only in the moment it is illuminated.
Radilum Design Studio

Treat it as the
rare object it is.
Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord. The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
See it in motion.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
