The Eloise references the Louis XV (1715–1774) Rococo court chandelier tradition — French 18th-century court lighting characterized by sculpted putti (cherub figures), foliate scrollwork, acanthus-leaf ornament, and rich ormolu (gilt bronze) finishing. This aesthetic spread from the French royal palaces through European aristocratic estates and remained the dominant grand-chandelier vocabulary into the 19th-century Beaux-Arts revival. The Eloise is a contemporary made-to-order interpretation of that historic vocabulary in solid cast brass — not a reproduction of any specific period piece.

Yes. Each putto figure on the central column is cast individually in solid brass and hand-finished to bring out the sculpted detail — facial features, drapery folds, and limb positioning. The cherub motif was a signature element of Louis XV / Rococo decorative arts (carrying through Renaissance and Baroque traditions before that), and remains a distinguishing detail of estate-grade traditional chandeliers. Subtle variation between figures is part of the hand-finishing character.
