Eine umgestülpte Schalen-Deckenleuchte in der Sprache der Art-Déco-Beleuchtung der 1930er Jahre – eine breite flache Alabasterschale, aufgehängt an vier schlanken Messingzugstangen, die sich an einem kleinen zentralen Baldachin treffen. Die Schale ist aus einem einzigen Block spanischen Alabasters handgeschnitten und verbirgt sechs Leuchtmittel im Inneren, die ein Umgebungslicht durch den Stein hindurch an die Decke werfen.
Der Messingsockel ist von Hand veraltert mit einer Vintage-Patina – tiefer in der ausgenommenen Kante, wo die Schale auf dem Rand trifft, heller auf den polierten Zugstangen. Das Ergebnis ist eine Leuchte, die wie ein leuchtender Alabasterbehälter wirkt, nicht wie ein Kronleuchter mit sichtbaren Leuchtmitteln. Geeignet für Flure, Wohnzimmer, Eingangshallen, Schlafzimmer und Räume mit niedriger Decke, wo eine Deckenleuchten-Optik gewünscht ist, ohne dabei auf Präsenz zu verzichten – ebenso heimisch in Wohn- wie in Hospitality-Interieurs.

Installation
- Wird an eine Standard-Deckenauslass-Dose angeschlossen — professionelle Installation wird empfohlen.
- Aufhängungsstange im Lieferumfang in 30 cm (11,8″) Länge; die Stangenlänge kann von Ihrem Elektriker für höhere Decken angepasst werden.
- Geeignet für Standard-Decken ab 8 Fuß – der Gesamtabstand inklusive Schale beträgt ungefähr 51 cm (20″) vom Baldachin zur Schalenbasis.
- Installieren Sie zuerst die Leuchtmittel in der Schale und sichern Sie dann die Schale am Rahmen.

Mit ∅ 16,5″ × H 16,5″ ist sie gut proportioniert für Flure und Korridore von 6–10 m², Hauptschlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer von 14–22 m² sowie Eingangshallen bis 18 m². Das Halbeinbau-Profil (nur 51 cm / 20″ Gesamtabstand) macht sie besonders geeignet für Decken von 8–9 Fuß Höhe, wo ein tieferer Kronleuchter zu niedrig wirken würde.
Warum sieht jede Alabasterschale leicht unterschiedlich aus? +
Der Alabaster wird in Aragonien, Spanien, abgebaut und von Hand aus natürlichen Blöcken geschnitten. Die wolkenähnliche Zeichnung, Farbtiefe und Transluzenz sind Eigenschaften des Natursteins – keine zwei Schalen sind identisch. Dies ist die Charakteristik des Materials, kein Mangel, und einer der Gründe, warum Alabaster seit römischer Zeit für Ambiente-Beleuchtung geschätzt wird.
Ist die Dionne dimmbar? +
Ja, mit dem richtigen Leuchtmittel. Jede Fassung nimmt eine E26 (US) oder E27 (EU) Schraublampe auf. Installieren Sie dimmbare LED-Leuchtmittel an einem TRIAC-Wanddimmer und die Pendelleuchte dimmt sanft. Warmweiß 2700K–3000K wird empfohlen, um das Alabasterglow zu schmeicheln.

Ja — die Dionne ist im Wesentlichen eine Halbeinbau-Pendelleuchte. Der Gesamtabstand vom Baldachin zur Schalenbasis beträgt etwa 51 cm (20″), kürzer als bei den meisten Kronleuchtern. Sie funktioniert komfortabel bei 8-Fuß-Decken (240 cm) und eignet sich hervorragend für Flure und Räume, in denen ein größerer Abstand aufdringlich wirken würde. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
