The alabaster story
Quarried in Spain, glowing from within
Spanish alabaster is a soft, translucent stone. Cut into shades a few millimetres thick, it turns an LED into a warm, even glow with the veining floating inside. Each shade is cut from its own block, so tone and pattern differ slightly from piece to piece — that is the material, not a fault.

La Variación Natural No es un Defecto
Porque el alabastro es una piedra natural viva, cada pieza lleva consigo su propia veta única y variación tonal — una cualidad que celebramos en lugar de suprimir. No podemos especificar, seleccionar o reproducir ningún patrón en particular. El marmolado de tinta, las vetas de rayo, las formaciones de grieta de hielo y las inclusiones de copos de nieve son características inherentes del material y no constituyen un problema de calidad. Si prefieres un acabado perfectamente uniforme, esta colección podría no alinearse con tus expectativas — y te invitamos amablemente a considerarlo antes de realizar tu pedido.

Cada lámpara de alabastro comienza como piedra bruta y llega a tus manos solo después de pasar por una secuencia de pasos precisos y sin prisa — realizados por artesanos que saben cómo escuchar el material antes de darle forma.
Selección de Materiales
Los bloques en bruto se evalúan a mano en la cantera por translucidez, integridad estructural y profundidad de color.
Corte de Precisión
Instrumentos de diamante cortan la piedra en paneles trabajables, guiados por su veta natural en lugar de en contra.
Escultura
Los artesanos giran, tallan y cavan cada forma a mano — respondiendo al carácter de la piedra conforme se revela.
Pulido a Mano
Granos progresivamente más finos refinan la superficie hasta que se realiza plenamente la luminosidad interior de la piedra.
Montaje Final
Módulos LED, herrajes de latón macizo e instalaciones trabajadas a mano se ajustan e inspeccionan — cada pieza individualmente, nunca en lotes.

Cada lámpara de alabastro se completa con su herraje — el dosel, vástago, brazos y herrajes que sostienen la piedra y enmarcan su brillo. Cada uno está disponible en diecisiete acabados numerados de la Biblioteca de Acabados Radilum: latón, bronce, hierro, acero, níquel, y caracteres cromados, aplicados a mano y sellados, o una pátina personalizada desarrollada para coincidir con una muestra que nos envíes.

Ordena por número, no por nombre. "Latón antiguo", "latón envejecido", "latón brunido" — pregunta a cinco talleres qué significan y cinco metales diferentes regresan. Acabado 04 es la misma muestra física en nuestro estudio, en el banco del taller, y en tu albarán de entrega.
Y porque ninguna pantalla reproduce el metal con honestidad, enviamos los paneles físicos antes de comprometer nada. Sostenlos contra el veteado de tu alabastro, tu carpintería y pintura de pared, en la hora en que realmente usas la sala — entonces envía el número.

01Nunca levantes por el cable de alimentación.El cable no es estructural. La tensión aplicada puede dañar el cableado LED interno y provocar fallos de conexión con el tiempo.

02Siempre sostén el cuerpo de piedra.Sostén la luminaria con ambas manos al moverla o instalarla. Para piezas más grandes, se recomienda encarecidamente que lo hagan dos personas.

03Limpia con suavidad; desempolva regularmente.Un paño suave y seco es todo lo que necesitas. Evita agua, disolventes y abrasivos — opacará la superficie pulida de forma irreversible.
