La Suspension Lanterne s'inspire de la logique de la lanterne de rue traditionnelle — la lumière protégée au sein d'une forme délicate et englobante. Les abat-jour en verre blanc sont disposés le long d'une colonne en fer cannelé doré, chacun flottant contre la structure verticale plutôt que de reposer sur elle. La tige en fer présente des cannelures fines qui captent et rediffusent la lueur à travers sa surface nervurée ; de petites sphères dorées ponctuent la colonne à intervalles réguliers, servant de repos visuels entre les formes de verre plus imposantes.
Avec ses 150 cm de hauteur et seulement 25 cm de diamètre, la Lanterne s'affirme comme un élément vertical — plus colonne que lustre. Elle convient aux salles à manger et aux entrées à haut plafond où le luminaire doit offrir une présence verticale sans expansion horizontale, et s'harmonise naturellement avec les intérieurs classiques, transitionnels et Art Déco où l'or et le blanc constituent une association fondamentale.
Dimensions
Ne convient pas aux plafonds inclinés. La Suspension Lanterne est conçue pour l'installation sur plafonds plats uniquement. La forme de colonne verticale requiert un montage de rosace à niveau — un plafond incliné causera au luminaire de pendre en biais. Ne pas installer sur des surfaces de plafond incliné ou voûté.
Exigence de hauteur sous plafond. Avec une hauteur de corps de 150 cm plus une tige de suspension de 100 cm, la chute totale du plafond au bas du luminaire est approximativement 250 cm avant tout ajustement. Une hauteur minimale de plafond de 3,2 m est recommandée pour assurer un dégagement adéquat au-dessus du niveau des yeux. La tige de suspension peut être raccourcie lors de l'installation pour s'adapter à des plafonds plus bas.

Quelle hauteur de plafond me faut-il ? +
Le corps du luminaire mesure 150 cm de hauteur. En ajoutant la tige de suspension de 100 cm, la chute totale du plafond au bas du luminaire est approximativement 250 cm avant tout ajustement de tige. Pour maintenir un dégagement confortable au-dessus du niveau des yeux (environ 200 cm du sol), vous avez besoin d'au moins 3,2 m de hauteur sous plafond. La tige de suspension peut être coupée plus court lors de l'installation si votre plafond est plus bas, mais le corps du luminaire de 150 cm ne peut pas être raccourci. Confirmez votre hauteur de plafond avant de commander.
Pourquoi ne peut-elle pas être installée sur un plafond incliné ? +
La forme de colonne verticale de la Suspension Lanterne est conçue pour pendre d'aplomb — parfaitement verticale. Une rosace de plafond incliné inclinera le point de suspension, causant à l'ensemble de la colonne de 150 cm de pendre en biais plutôt que droit vers le bas. Contrairement aux suspensions plus courtes où un léger biais est à peine perceptible, la hauteur de 150 cm rend même un petit angle visuellement significatif. Les adaptateurs standards pour plafond incliné ne résolvent pas non plus ce problème de manière adéquate pour un luminaire de cette longueur.
Quel type d'ampoule dois-je utiliser ? +
Une ampoule standard E26 (États-Unis) ou E27 (international). Pour un luminaire de ce style — colonne dorée, verre blanc, références Art Déco — une ampoule LED blanc chaud 2700K entre 6 et 10W avec un globe givré ou opale produit une lueur douce et uniforme à travers le verre blanc. Une ampoule LED de style Edison avec filament visible dans une forme de globe ou de bougie convient également à l'esthétique de l'époque. Évitez les ampoules blanc froid (4000K+) — elles contrastent avec la finition or chaud. Les ampoules ne sont pas incluses.
Est-ce dimmable ? +
Oui, lorsqu'elle est équipée d'une ampoule LED dimmable et d'un variateur mural compatible TRIAC (tous deux vendus séparément). Spécifiez « dimmable » lors de l'achat de l'ampoule E26/E27, et confirmez que votre variateur est adapté aux charges LED. Le variateur rehausse considérablement le caractère chaud et ambiant du luminaire.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
