Un plafonnier encastré en forme de disque plat, construit à partir de petits fragments d'albâtre naturel assemblés à la main, puis polis jusqu'à former une surface lisse et homogène. Contrairement aux luminaires taillés dans un seul bloc, la technique mosaïque révèle les veines de chaque pierre comme une cellule distincte — ensemble, elles forment un motif tesselé organique qui brille de manière unique lorsque la LED intégrée est allumée.
Puisque chaque cellule est taillée et placée à la main, aucun plafonnier ne partage exactement la même composition de veines, couleur ou direction de grain. Le résultat est un plafonnier unique en son genre — une petite architecture plutôt qu'un luminaire de fabrication industrielle.

Cette annonce concerne la version Mosaïque. La mosaïque est assemblée à la main à partir de nombreuses petites pierres d'albâtre, puis polie — quand elle s'allume, chaque cellule de pierre devient individuellement visible sous forme d'une dalle lumineuse distincte, produisant un effet texturé et en couches. La version Pièce entière (annonce séparée) est taillée dans un seul bloc d'albâtre pour un éclairage plus discret et uniforme. Choisissez Mosaïque si vous souhaitez un motif et de l'individualité ; choisissez Pièce entière si vous recherchez le minimalisme et l'uniformité.

Non — chaque plafonnier en mosaïque d'albâtre est unique. Parce que les cellules sont taillées à la main dans l'albâtre naturel et placées à la main par l'artisan, le motif final, les veines, les tons de couleur et la direction du grain varieront par rapport aux photographies. Le vôtre sera une pièce unique. Si vous avez une préférence marquée (plus clair, plus foncé, plus ou moins veiné), laissez une note à la commande.
Quelle taille convient à mon espace ? +
Le modèle Compact (∅ 40 cm) convient aux chambres standard, couloirs et petits salons. Le modèle Moyen (∅ 50 cm) est le plus polyvalent — convient aux salons typiques, salles à manger et chambres principales. Le modèle Grand (∅ 60 cm) structure les grands salons ou espaces ouverts. Tous les trois modèles mesurent 5 cm d'épaisseur — un véritable plafonnier affleurant qui fonctionne avec les plafonds bas.
Est-ce dimmable ? +
La LED intégrée par défaut n'est pas dimmable — elle ne fonctionnera pas avec les variateurs muraux TRIAC standard. Si la variation d'intensité est importante pour votre installation, veuillez nous contacter avant de commander et nous pourrons vous fournir une version dimmable (version personnalisée, peut affecter le délai de livraison).
Puis-je l'installer dans une salle de bain ? +
Oui — ce luminaire convient bien aux plafonds de salle de bains, particulièrement au-dessus du plan de toilette. Comme l'albâtre est une pierre naturelle poreuse, nous recommandons de l'installer loin des projections directes de douche ou de concentration de vapeur — évitez de la placer directement au-dessus de la tête de douche ou de la baignoire où l'humidité prolongée pourrait éventuellement affecter la pierre au fil du temps. La ventilation standard et l'humidité normale de la salle de bains ne posent aucun problème.

Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.
Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.
Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.
Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.
Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.
Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Every alabaster fixture is completed by its metalwork — the canopy, stem, arms, and fittings that carry the stone and frame its glow. Each is available in seventeen numbered finishes from the Radilum Finishes Library: brass, bronze, iron, steel, nickel, and chrome characters, hand-applied and sealed, or a custom patina grown to match a sample you send us.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
