Spanish Alabaster · Pyramid Form · Plug-In Table Lamp
A geometric table lamp hand-cut from a single block of Spanish alabaster — a four-sided pyramid form that glows from within when lit, with light spilling softly through the translucent stone walls and emerging more brightly at the apex. The piece reads as a sculptural object during the day and a quiet ambient light source at night.
Each pyramid is hand-carved from natural alabaster quarried in Aragón, Spain — the cloud-like veining and color depth vary piece to piece, so no two lamps are identical. Plug-in cord with a 59″ length means no electrician is needed: plug into any standard outlet. Suited to side tables, console tables, bedside tables, desks, mantels, and shelves in modern, contemporary, and warm-minimalist interiors.

Setup & Care
- Plug-in design — no electrician required. Plug the 59″ (150 cm) cord into any standard wall outlet.
- The G9 socket is accessible from the underside of the pyramid — install your own warm-white G9 LED bulb before placing the lamp.
- Recommended bulb: warm white 2700K–3000K G9 LED, max 25W incandescent equivalent — the lower wattage is appropriate for the alabaster's slow heat dissipation and prevents long-term yellowing.
- For dimming control, pair with a dimmable G9 LED + an in-line cord dimmer or a smart plug (sold separately).
- Place on a stable flat surface with the cord routed safely along the table or wall edge.
- Indoor only · clean alabaster with a soft dry cloth; avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners, and acidic household products which can etch porous natural stone.

FAQ
Do I need an electrician to install it? +
No — this is a plug-in lamp with a 59″ (150 cm) cord. Plug it into any standard wall outlet and it works immediately. No hardwiring, no junction box, no electrician required. This makes it easy to relocate the lamp from one room to another, or to take it with you when you move.
Will my pyramid look exactly like the photo? +
No — and that's the point. Each pyramid is hand-cut from a fresh block of Aragón alabaster, so cloud veining patterns, color depth, and translucency vary piece to piece. Some pyramids will have more dramatic streaking, some will be quieter and more uniform. The photograph shows representative character; your piece will be unique.
Is the Pyramid Table Lamp dimmable? +
Yes, with the right setup. The G9 socket takes a bulb (not included). Use a dimmable G9 LED paired with an in-line cord dimmer (sold separately) or a smart plug for app-controlled dimming. Warm white 2700K–3000K is recommended to bring out the alabaster's natural glow.
Where should I place it? +
The pyramid works on side tables, console tables, bedside tables, desks, mantels, and wide shelves. The 59″ (150 cm) cord gives plenty of reach to most outlets. Avoid placing in direct sunlight (can over time slightly affect the alabaster) and keep away from sources of liquid spills.
What bulb should I use? +
Use a G9 base LED bulb at 2700K–3000K warm white, max 25W incandescent equivalent (about 3W actual LED draw). The lower wattage is intentional — alabaster doesn't dissipate heat as fast as glass, and a high-wattage bulb in a small enclosed pyramid can over time cause heat-yellowing of the stone.
How do I clean it? +
Soft dry cloth only for routine dusting. For deeper cleaning, a barely damp cloth (water only) wiped on and dried immediately. Avoid acidic household cleaners (vinegar, lemon, citrus-based products) which can etch the alabaster surface permanently. Avoid solvents and abrasives entirely.

Sculpted by earth,
softened by light.
Rare natural alabaster, hand-carved by master artisans and illuminated from within. Every piece is unrepeatable — a singular convergence of geology and craft.
"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate. Five expressive patterns emerge most consistently in our collection.

Pure
Clear SurfaceA near-uniform honey surface with barely perceptible variation — the rarest and most meditative expression of the stone.

Ink Marbling
Flowing VeinsSoft, fluid grey veining reminiscent of East Asian ink painting — atmospheric, unhurried, deeply contemplative.

Lightning Veins
Sharp BranchingBold, branching mineral lines that fracture the surface with dramatic precision — striking from any angle and in any light.

Ice Crack
Angular FracturesGeometric fissures suspended within the stone — sculptural formations that diffuse and scatter light with quiet drama.

Snowflake
Crystalline FlecksSuspended constellations of lighter crystalline matter — a delicate drift across the surface that catches light from within.
Natural Variance Is Not a Defect
Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.
One material,
every room in the home.
From the grandeur of a double-height chandelier to the intimate glow of a bedside lamp — alabaster scales with intention, adapting to every room's rhythm without sacrificing presence.
Five stages of
quiet craftsmanship.
Every alabaster lamp begins as raw stone and arrives in your hands only after passing through a sequence of precise, unhurried steps — performed by artisans who know how to listen to the material before they shape it.

Material Selection
Rough blocks are hand-assessed at the quarry for translucence, structural integrity, and depth of colour within.

Precision Cutting
Diamond instruments slice the stone into workable panels, guided by its natural grain rather than against it.

Sculpting
Artisans turn, carve, and hollow each form by hand — responding to the stone's character as it is revealed.

Hand Polishing
Progressively finer grits refine the surface until the stone's interior luminosity is fully realised.

Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.
To own an alabaster lamp is to welcome a piece of natural sculpture into your home — shaped by the earth over millennia, refined by artisans over weeks, and completed only in the moment it is illuminated.
Radilum Design Studio

Treat it as the
rare object it is.
Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord. The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
See it in motion.
