A circular wall sconce composed of two simple shapes — a curved disc of natural Calacatta Viola marble (Italian white-and-purple veined stone) with a frosted glass globe set off-center against it. The geometry is quiet and sculptural; the marble does the talking.
Each piece is hand-cut from a unique slab — no two units share the same veining, color intensity, or pattern. The frosted glass globe diffuses the bulb into a soft glow that reflects gently off the polished stone behind it.

If you have a preference — lighter or darker base, more or less veining, rose tones vs. plum tones — leave a note at checkout and we'll prioritize matches. If none of the available options suits, you can request a random selection from the next slab and we'll send photos of that batch as well.
Each piece is unique. Because the marble is cut from natural Italian slab, the photographs are representative — your unit's veining, color intensity, and pattern will differ. That singularity is the entire point of natural stone.

Why is this a Universal SKU? +
Because each marble disc is cut from a unique slab of Calacatta Viola, no two are alike. Listing every individual stone separately would mean constant out-of-stock confusion. The Universal SKU lets you order, then choose your specific piece from photos we send within 1 business day — so you see exactly what you're getting before we ship.
What if I don't like the stones you offer? +
Just let us know — we'll either pull alternatives from upcoming slab batches and send new photos, or process a refund before shipping if no available stone meets your expectations. You're never locked in to a specific piece you haven't approved.
What bulb does it take? +
One G9 LED bulb (not included). G9 is a small bi-pin base, common in compact decorative fixtures — widely available at lighting suppliers. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best soft-glow effect through the frosted glass.
Is it dimmable? +
The fixture itself doesn't dim, but it becomes fully dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a standard TRIAC wall dimmer (both sold separately).
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Calacatta Viola is a porous natural marble. The fixture is rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only — fine flanking a bathroom mirror away from direct water contact, but not suitable for shower zones, above tubs, or any high-humidity environment where moisture could stain or etch the stone.

Quarrying
Solid blocks are extracted from the foothills, where geological forces left their finest seams. Only stones with sound structure and clean veining are selected.
Slab Cutting
Diamond-tipped blades part the block into precise slabs — each cut is a first reveal of the unique veining hidden inside the stone for millennia.
Shaping & Carving
Each form is cut by skilled hands — a patient negotiation between the designer's intent and the grain of the stone itself.
Hollow & Polish
The interior is bored to delicate walls so warm light may pass through. The exterior is honed and hand-polished to its final, luminous finish.
Assembly
Wiring, sockets and fittings are integrated by our atelier team. Each fixture is bench-tested and inspected before it leaves the workshop.
