A weighted sage-green metal base holds steady as a slender brown metal arm rises and curves overhead, carrying a single hand-blown amber glass sphere. Unlit, the glass reads as a warm honey tone; switched on, it glows a rich, golden-yellow — a warm, saturated light that anchors a sofa, reading corner, or dining area without the need for a ceiling rough-in.

The Three-Tone Palette
The Joni Arc ships in a single signature colourway. Swatches below show the true tones — note that the glass is a real amber and glows golden-yellow when lit, not a neutral clear or tan.

About the glass colour. This is a genuine amber glass, not a clear or neutral-tan globe. Switched off it looks like warm honey; switched on it glows a rich, golden-yellow. The light it casts is noticeably warm and saturated — this is intended, not a defect. Because screens, lighting, and your chosen bulb all shift how colour appears, the lit glass may look more yellow in your room than in a catalogue photo. If a warm golden-yellow glow isn't right for your space, this isn't the lamp for you — and we'd rather tell you before you order.

Bulb not included. Use an E26 or E27 dimmable LED bulb, 2700K warm white, 6–9 W. A globe-shaped bulb (G25 / G95) sits best inside the spherical shade. The amber glass already adds a strong golden-yellow cast, so a 2700K warm-white bulb gives the most balanced result — avoid cool-white (it fights the amber) and avoid coloured bulbs (the glass intensifies them).
Installation
- Plug-in — no hardwiring or electrician required. Plugs into any standard wall outlet.
- Simple assembly: secure the arched arm to the base, install your bulb, position the lamp on a flat, stable surface.
- For dimming, pair a dimmable LED bulb with an in-line TRIAC dimmer cord or a smart plug that supports dimming.
- Confirm the arc's 45 cm sweep clears any adjacent furniture before powering on.
FAQ
What colour is the glass, exactly? +
It's a genuine amber glass. Unlit, it looks like warm honey or tea. Switched on, it glows a rich, golden-yellow — a warm and fairly saturated light, not a pale or neutral tone. The colour you see in our lit photos and walkthrough video is what to expect; if you want a clear, white, or barely-tinted globe, this isn't the right lamp.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes. Pair a dimmable E26 or E27 LED bulb with an in-line TRIAC dimmer cord, or plug the lamp into a smart plug that supports dimming. No wall-switch dimmer is required, since the lamp is plug-in. Dimming down softens the golden-yellow into a deeper, cosier glow.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A 2700K warm-white dimmable LED, 6–9 W, E26 or E27 base. A globe-shaped bulb (G25 or G95) sits cleanly inside the spherical shade. Because the amber glass already pushes the light toward golden-yellow, stick to warm white — cool-white bulbs clash with the amber, and coloured bulbs are intensified by it.
Will the glass make the light look yellow? +
Yes — clearly. The amber glass casts a warm, golden-yellow glow, and that effect is stronger once the lamp is on. This is the intended character of the piece. If your room favours cool or neutral light, the warm yellow cast may not suit it, so please factor that in before ordering.
What outlet does it plug into? +
The lamp ships with a 59″ (150 cm) plug cord terminated for your region — US Type A (110–120 V), or EU / UK / AU plug at 220–240 V, as appropriate. Confirm the region at checkout.
Is the base stable with the arc extending that far? +
Yes — the base is intentionally weighted to counterbalance the arc's 45 cm horizontal reach. Place it on level flooring. In high-traffic rooms, or homes with young children and pets, we still recommend siting the lamp where the arc won't be brushed against.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
