Wood Bead Tiered Chandelier · Copper Iron Frame · Farmhouse · E12 / E14

Pia strings hundreds of natural wood beads across cascading tiered strands — each strand tapered so the beads grow progressively larger from top to bottom, giving the fringe its characteristic weighted drape. The beads come in 10 graduating sizes, a detail you only notice up close; from across the room the fixture reads as a single warm, textural cloud of wood and light. The copper-finished iron frame anchors the organic material in something more structured — the combination sits in the same register as macramé and woven rattan, but with a formality that suits a proper dining room as much as a relaxed kitchen.

Three sizes — 3, 6, and 8 heads — step from an intimate single-table pendant to a full statement piece for an open farmhouse dining room or vaulted living space. Three finishes let the bead tone lead the palette: raw natural wood for a bleached, airy look; deeper brown for warmth and contrast; or copper-accented for a more polished, transitional take on the rustic material.

Tapered Bead Strands

10 graduating bead sizes per strand — smallest at top, largest at bottom — give the fringe a natural weighted drape.

Copper Iron Frame

Warm copper-finished iron canopy and arms — structured metalwork that anchors the organic wood bead material.

Which size suits my dining table? +

The 3-head (∅ 45 cm) suits a small round table up to 90 cm, a breakfast nook, or a bedroom. The 6-head (∅ 50 cm) is the most versatile — works over a standard 4–6 seat dining table (120–160 cm) and most kitchen islands. The 8-head (∅ 76 cm) is for larger farmhouse dining rooms, open-plan spaces, and vaulted-ceiling rooms where the fixture needs real visual weight — at 103 cm tall it also requires adequate ceiling clearance, with a minimum 2.8 m ceiling height recommended.

Which finish works best for a farmhouse interior? +

All three finishes suit farmhouse interiors; the choice depends on your existing palette. Original Wood is the most relaxed — the pale natural bead tone pairs with shiplap, white paint, linen, and light oak. Best for a bright, casual farmhouse or coastal farmhouse aesthetic. Brown is the most traditional — deep walnut tones read well with dark beams, reclaimed wood, and wrought iron hardware. Copper is the most versatile across farmhouse and transitional styles — the warm metal bridges rustic and refined, and pairs well with brass plumbing fixtures and terracotta accents.

What kind of bulb gives the best farmhouse look? +

Two options work well. A standard 2–4W LED E12/E14 candelabra at 2700K warm white gives a clean, warm glow that flatters the wood bead texture without the bulb drawing attention. Alternatively, a vintage-style Edison filament LED candelabra (visible spiral filament, amber glass) adds a candlelit character that leans more rustic — the exposed filament is visible through the open bead frame and adds to the farmhouse aesthetic. Both fit the E12/E14 socket. Bulbs not included.

Is it dimmable? +

Yes, when fitted with dimmable LED candelabra bulbs and a compatible TRIAC wall dimmer switch. Both are sold separately. Specify "dimmable" when purchasing LED E12/E14 candelabra bulbs, and confirm your dimmer is rated for LED loads. Dimming the Pia to 30–50% creates a particularly warm, candlelit atmosphere well suited to farmhouse dining rooms.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting

When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.

Kitchen

Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.

Dining Room

For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.

Bedroom

If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
