The geometry is deliberately quiet, letting the veining of the stone do the visual work. Each backplate is hand-cut from genuine marble, polished to a smooth surface, and finished as a clean circular disc.
The frosted glass orb diffuses the bulb into a soft glow that washes the stone surface behind it, picking out the veining and tonal variation in the marble. Every piece is unique — the photograph shows representative examples rather than the exact slab you will receive.

No — the backplate is cut from natural stone, so each piece has its own unique veining pattern, color intensity, and grain direction. To minimize surprise, we send photos of the actual available slabs after you order so you can choose your specific piece.
What bulb does it take? +
One G9 LED bulb (not included). G9 is a small bi-pin base, common in compact decorative fixtures and widely available at lighting suppliers. We recommend a dimmable G9 LED up to 5W in warm white (3000K) for the best soft-glow effect through the frosted glass orb.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — this sconce is often installed in pairs flanking a bed, mirror, or doorway. Just order two units. Note that because the natural stones vary between pieces, a pair will share the same overall character but won't be perfectly matched — for closer matching, leave a note at checkout requesting coordinated slabs and we'll prioritize them when sending you the slab photos.
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Yes — this lamp is well-suited to bathroom walls, particularly flanking a vanity mirror. Because the backplate is natural porous stone, we recommend installing it away from direct shower spray or steam concentration — not directly above a tub or inside a wet zone. Standard ventilation and normal bathroom humidity are not a concern.

Quarrying
Solid blocks are extracted from the foothills, where geological forces left their finest seams. Only stones with sound structure and clean veining are selected.
Slab Cutting
Diamond-tipped blades part the block into precise slabs — each cut is a first reveal of the unique veining hidden inside the stone for millennia.
Shaping & Carving
Each form is cut by skilled hands — a patient negotiation between the designer's intent and the grain of the stone itself.
Hollow & Polish
The interior is bored to delicate walls so warm light may pass through. The exterior is honed and hand-polished to its final, luminous finish.
Assembly
Wiring, sockets and fittings are integrated by our atelier team. Each fixture is bench-tested and inspected before it leaves the workshop.
