The torus is hand-carved from a single block of Spanish alabaster — the most translucent variety, prized for its warm cream-and-amber veining under backlight.

Installation
- Licensed electrician required. Hardwired ceiling pendant via supplied canopy plate and rod.
- Specialist installer recommended. Spanish alabaster is a soft mineral — handle the torus with care during un-crating; lift only by the supporting hardware, never by the alabaster ring.
- Hang the lower edge 30–34″ above the dining table or island top, or 7 ft+ above the floor in foyer walking zones.
- Specify color temperature at order. 2700K warm or 4000K cool — chosen at checkout, not field-changeable.
- Care: dust the alabaster with a soft dry cloth only. Do not use water, glass cleaner, or any liquid — alabaster is porous and will stain. For fingerprints use a dry chamois.

Which size should I choose? +
Match chandelier diameter to roughly half to two-thirds of table or island width. The Compact (Ø 23.6″) suits tables 48–60″ and islands 36–48″. The Standard (Ø 27.6″) suits tables 60–80″ and islands 48–60″. The Grand (Ø 31.5″) suits tables 72–96″ and islands 60–84″. Hang the lower edge 30–34″ above the dining table or island top. For very long tables and islands, plan a paired or triple run of Compacts spaced 24–30″ apart center-to-center.
Warm or cool light — which should I choose? +
Choose 2700K warm white for dining rooms, primary suites, and foyers — it warms the natural cream-and-amber veining of the Spanish alabaster. Choose 4000K cool white for kitchen islands, gallery interiors, and modern white-and-stone rooms — it reads as daylight and emphasizes the cool side of the veining. Color temperature is selected at checkout and is not field-changeable.
Will my fixture match the photographs? +
The form, brass branch, and matte black canopy are made to consistent specification. The alabaster, however, is hand-carved from natural Spanish blocks — veining patterns, translucency, exact tone, and minor mineral inclusions differ between every fixture. The piece you receive will sit within the same visual language as the photographs but will be visibly distinct at the veining level. This is the character of natural Spanish alabaster.
Is it dimmable? Lutron-compatible? +
The default integrated LED is non-dimming and will not work with standard TRIAC wall dimmers. TRIAC-dimmable wiring is available as a custom build — please specify when contacting us. The dimmable variant is compatible with Lutron Caséta, Diva, and forward-phase wall dimmers. See our dimming protocols guide.
How do I clean the alabaster? +
Dust with a soft dry microfiber cloth or chamois only. Do not use water, glass cleaner, ammonia, vinegar, or any liquid cleaner — alabaster is porous and water will discolor or stain the surface. For fingerprints use a dry cloth. Keep the fixture away from high-humidity rooms (steam-shower baths, immediately above stovetops) to preserve the stone over time.

Because alabaster is a living natural stone, every piece carries its own unique veining and tonal variation — a quality we celebrate rather than suppress. We are unable to specify, select, or replicate any particular pattern. Ink marbling, lightning veins, ice-crack formations, and snowflake inclusions are inherent characteristics of the material and do not constitute a quality issue. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, this collection may not align with your expectations — and we kindly invite you to consider this before placing your order.

Final Assembly
LED modules, solid brass fittings, and hand-finished hardware are fitted and inspected — each piece individually, never in batches.

Alabaster is genuine natural stone — each fixture carries substantial weight and deserves the same careful handling you would extend to any fine sculpture. A few simple practices will preserve both piece and electrical integrity for a lifetime.
- 01Never lift by the power cord.The cord is not load-bearing. Tension applied to it can damage internal LED wiring and lead to connection failure over time.
- 02Always support the stone body.Cradle the fixture with both hands when moving or installing. For larger pieces, two people are strongly recommended.
- 03Clean gently; dust often.A dry, soft cloth is all that is needed. Avoid water, solvents, and abrasives — they will dull the polished surface irreversibly.
