Do I need an electrician? +
No — this is a plug-in lamp. The wall plate mounts with two screws, and the 59" cord plugs into any standard outlet. The inline switch on the cord controls power. No hardwiring or junction box required.
Which size should I choose? +
The standard size (W 50 × H 58 cm / 19.7" × 22.8") suits bedside or sofa use where the arm reaches across one person's space. The long-reach size (W 62 × H 70 cm / 24.4" × 27.6") works for full-size beds, large sofas, or desks set further from the wall.
Is a bulb included? +
No — bulbs are not included. Takes a standard E26 (North America) or E27 (EU/UK/AU) bulb up to 25W. We recommend a warm white (3000K) LED for residential use.
Can I hide the cord? +
The cord is a visible part of the design. If you prefer a clean wall, you can route it behind furniture, use a cord-cover channel, or have an electrician convert it to hardwired (consult a licensed pro for that conversion).

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
