Spanish Alabaster · Racetrack Oval Backplate · Vertical Cylinder Shade · 4 Finishes
A vertical wall sconce composed of a racetrack-oval brass backplate supporting a hand-cut Spanish alabaster cylinder shade. The cylinder sits upright on a slim cylindrical socket housing, glowing from within when lit and revealing the natural veining of the stone.
Available as a single sconce or a stacked two-head version that doubles the height for more dramatic vertical presence. Suited to bathroom vanity flanking, headboard walls, hallway accents, mirror walls, and any installation where you want a natural-stone vertical light source.

FAQ
Where does the alabaster come from? +
All Radilum alabaster is sourced from Spain — specifically the Aragón region, which has supplied the world's most prized translucent alabaster since the 16th century. Each cylinder is hand-cut from a solid block.
Which size suits my space? +
The 1-head (36 cm tall) is the most versatile — bathroom vanity flanking, bedside, hallway, and mirror walls. The 2-head stacked version (56.5 cm tall) is for taller walls or where you want a more architectural vertical statement — works particularly well flanking large mirrors or tall headboards in master bedrooms.
Why is the lead time 25 days? +
Each alabaster cylinder is hand-cut from a solid block of natural Spanish stone after your order is placed — we don't pre-stock cut pieces because every block yields different veining patterns and we want to give you the best stone available when you order. The 25-day production window covers cutting, finishing, and quality inspection.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
No — every cylinder is hand-cut from natural stone, so the pattern of veining, color intensity, and grain direction varies between pieces. Yours will share the same overall character as the photographs but the specific markings will be one-of-a-kind.
What bulb does it take? +
Each head takes one E26 (North America) or E27 (EU/UK/AU) standard-base bulb up to 25W. We recommend a warm white (3000K) LED for the most flattering glow through the alabaster — higher wattages can over-illuminate and flatten the veining.
Can I order it as a pair? +
Yes — works beautifully in pairs flanking a bathroom vanity, bed, or doorway. Just order two units in matching finish. For closer stone matching across a pair, leave a note at checkout and we'll select coordinated pieces.
Can I install it in a bathroom? +
Yes — well-suited to bathroom walls, particularly flanking a vanity mirror. Because alabaster is naturally porous, install away from direct shower spray or steam concentration. Standard ventilation and normal bathroom humidity are not a concern.

Measuring for Pendant Lighting
When installing pendants and chandeliers, it’s important to consider how you want your fixtures to hang in relation to the other furnishings in your space. Read on for our recommendations on how to hang the perfect light.
Kitchen
Aim for 30–36″ from the bottom of your fixture’s shade to the top of your island or countertop. Space multiple pendants 26–30″ apart. For a sense of proportion and balance, allow 12″ from the outermost fixture to the edge of your counter.
Dining Room
For optimal lighting and visibility, the bottom of your pendant should sit 30″ from the surface of your dining table. To scale your fixture, take the length and width of the room in feet, then convert that to inches. For a 10′ by 14′ room, the chandelier should be about 24″ wide.
Bedroom
If you’re hanging a pendant above a nightstand, allow for at least 30″ between the bottom of the shade and your nightstand’s surface. To keep the look balanced, center your pendant over your nightstand.
